“Windows Doors & More - 2014 Parade of Homes and Lifestyle Show”

Fort Wayne, IN (April 17, 2014) – The North Eastern Group and Fort Wayne Newspapers are partnering for the 2014 Parade of Homes and Lifestyle Show, to be held at The Forest at Foxwood, September 6-14. The parade is being sponsored by Windows, Doors & More.

The Forest at Foxwood is located on Flutter Road between Wheelock and Schwartz Roads in northeast Fort Wayne. The development boasts miles of walking trails and bike paths plus numerous additional amenities including a 15-acre lake plus a pool with pool house.

“With the improvement in the market and the current inventory shortages what we are experiencing, now is a perfect time to showcase new construction,” said Kim Ward, marketing director for North Eastern Group. “In fact, several of the homes included in this year’s Parade of Homes event offer one of a kind views and are already pre-sold.”

Homebuilders in the Fort Wayne area will have the opportunity to showcase their participating home’s unique craftsmanship and design on a grand scale during the event. To date, seven builders have committed to constructing homes and villas in the Parade. These builders are Bob Buescher Homes, Granite Ridge Builders, Hickory Creek Homes, Quality Crafted Homes, Slattery Builders, Star Homes by Delagrange & Richhart, and Timberlin Homes.

Groundbreaking for the event will take place on Wednesday, May 7 at 10am at The Forest at Foxwood. All media is invited to attend.

This year’s event is expected to attract well over 10,000 attendees. Builders will be paired with a major sponsor who will co-brand the home name. This co-branding opportunity benefits both the builders and sponsors in increasing awareness and recognition within the Fort Wayne community. In addition, both the builder and the sponsor will have on-site representation throughout the event plus the opportunity to include additional on-site vendor partners.

The event will also include a 24,800 square foot exhibition tent with 100 vendor booths featuring the best in home-related products and services, as well as host interactive demonstrations throughout the weekdays.

“Our goal for this year’s event is that people will make multiple visits to the Parade to take in all it has to offer – from the latest in home designs and features to vendor products and more,” added Ward.
