  In the wild: Live in forests in swamps and along rivers in central Africa.

  At the zoo: African Journey area

  Family: They live in groups. Mothers have one baby at a time, which stays with the mom until age 3 or older.

  Food: In the wild, fruit, leaves and bugs. At the zoo, monkey biscuits and vegetables.

  Fun fact: Swamp monkeys have webs between their toes and swim well. To escape snakes and eagles, they may dive into the water.
