  At the zoo: Lower level of Australian Adventure Welcome Center.

  Family: Larvae stage grows a hollow, tube-shaped body on sea floor. For as many as 25 years, they can send out tiny, free-swimming new jellyfish.

  Food: In the wild, plankton and larvae of clams and snails. At the zoo, brine shrimp, black worms and jellyfish food.

  Fun fact: Jellyfish feel really slimy, and you can see food particles in their stomach.
