  Family: Hyenas live in groups led by females, who can have one to four babies every 16 months.

  Food: In the wild, bugs, birds, lizards and mammals such as antelope and wildebeest. At the zoo, they eat meat and get bones.

  Fun fact: The name Some people call them "laughing hyenas" comes from the because they make a high-pitched, cackling sound they make.
