Robert and Phyllis, of Fort Wayne, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
An anniversary celebration was held at Cerutis On May 17th, hosted by the couple's children, Brian Robb and Shawna (Ray) Niblick. Guests enjoyed a luncheon, slide show, and toasts.
On May 15, 1965 their wedding vows were exchanged in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Fort Wayne, and solemnized before Rev. Paul V. Robb, S.J., brother of the groom.
After they married, they lived for five years at their lake home near Hamilton, and ever since they have lived in northern Allen County where Robert practiced optometry for 40 years, and where they raised their family.
They have five grandchildren: Rob, Max and Leila Niblick, Randi Robb (Josh Suarez) and Candice (Zach) Wagoner, and three step grandchildren, Mandi (Kristen) Goller, and Adam and Cory Pinkerton, and ten great-grandchildren.
