Jim and Sandy, high school sweethearts, were married on June 19, 1965 at First Baptist Church, Fort Wayne.
They are blessed with two children, Steve, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Jenny (Murray), Algonquin, Illinois; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Jim retired from the Allen County Sheriff's Department after 36 years of service, the last eight as Sheriff. Sandy retired from Navistar after 28 years of service.
