Melvin A. and Gloria J. Vachon of New Haven, Ind. were married on April 24, 1965 at St. Louis Besancon Church in New Haven, Ind. The couple just recently celebrated their 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary on Saturday April 18 during the 4:00p.m. Mass at St. Louis Besancon, father Stephen Colchin gave the couple a blessing of their marriage.
The couple celebrated with 50 of their close family and friends at a buffet style dinner at Rack and Helen's hosted by their children, Kim Vachon Roth, Jeff (Toni) Vachon, Chuck (Jevne) Vachon, Kelly Vachon (Dave) Quinn and 11 grandchildren.
