George and Barbara Paul of Markle, Indiana celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, January 27th. They were married on January 27, 1945 in the home of Pastor Hile, a Methodist Pastor, in Warren, Indiana.
They have three children; George (Ginger) Paul II, Jimmerson Lake; Suzann Paul, Ossian, and Terry (Darrell) Murray, Bluffton. They also have 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
George Paul is retired from the U.S. Air Force and the Kmart warehouse. Barbara Paul has yet to retire as a homemaker.
They had a family celebration at their favorite restaurant in Markle, the Markle Dairy Queen.
