Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Newport, of Fort Wayne, proudly announce the upcoming wedding of their daughter, Emily Newport to Jon Backus, son of Mr. Mark Backus and Ms. Dawn Backus of Michigan.
The bride is a graduate of Warsaw High School and is completing her degree in Special Education at Central Michigan University. Her fiance is a graduate of Central Michigan and is currently employed at Michigan State University Museum, as Assistant Collections Manager.
The couple will wed on January 3, 2015, at the Embassy Theatre in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
