On June 14, 2014, Nicole Marjorie Kernan, daughter of Christopher and Cindy Kernan of Indianapolis, became the bride of Matthew Dean Shirk, son of Gregory Shirk and Marilyn Eley-Jones of Argos.
The wedding mass was celebrated at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Indianapolis at 2:30 p.m., with a cocktail and Dinner reception following, held at the Crowne Plaza at Historic Union Station, downtown Indianapolis. Photography was by Chris Cheever of Indianapolis.
Nicole is a graduate of Lawrence North High School, DePauw and Butler Universities. She is a Physician Assistant at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis. Matthew is a graduate of Argos High School and Indiana University, Bloomington. He is a PE & Health teacher and is Athletic Director at Gambold Preparartory Magnet High School in Indianapolis.
The couple honeymooned in Costa Rica and currently resides in Broad Ripple, Indiana.
