H. Wayne and Martha Dawson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a lawn party at their son's home.
The couple was married August 22, 1964 at the Riverside Evangelical United Brethren Church in Muncie. After a reception at the church, they honeymooned in Pennsylvania.
Wayne graduated from Indiana University and retired from Krouse, Kern & Co. C.P.A's. Martha received her B.S. and M.S. from Ball State University and taught at L.C. Ward Elementary School, Fort Wayne.
They have two sons, Clark (Becky) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Timothy (Amy) of Fort Wayne and six grandchildren, Foster, Bonnie and Tate of Cincinnati, and Ariela, Isaiah and Daniel of Fort Wayne.
